Getting firewood is hard work for such a little guy. First Dad is gone all day up the mountain and brings back a big load and dumps it in the backyard. Then Dad saws it into smaller rounds. Then Dad splits it. Then Dad stacks it in big containers he made. THEN, the hard work begins! Mason helps Mom load some of it into the wheel barrow, even trying to get the pieces that are bigger than him. Then we walk CLEAR ACROSS the yard and Mom stacks it next to the house. Then she opens the wood chute and Mason throws each piece down, ALL BY HIMSELF. Yes, indeed, getting firewood is hard work.

It's a good thing you have such hard working boys. :)
I bet you guys will enjoy all that firewood. Gotta admit, Terral and I are a little jealous of your fireplace...
Love this post. Almost want a fireplace.
